Renovation Continues to Proceed on Schedule
The Middlebury Public
Library’s renovation project continues to proceed on schedule, and the finished
product is now in sight. The library’s new study rooms, teen room, multipurpose
room, quiet reading room, and expanded community room are all taking shape, and
even in their unfinished state look beautiful. The library’s sizable windows
combine with the newly expanded dimensions of the building to provide a bright,
spacious and open feel. Please continue to check this blog for more updates as
the construction project nears its completion.

The Library is Open at its Temporary Location
The Middlebury Public Library is open and fully operational at its temporary location, the MidEx Building, located at 199 Park Road Extension, Suite D, Middlebury, CT 06762. For more information and updates on our expansion project, please visit this webpage regularly.

The library has moved!!!
Our relocation to 199 Park Road Extension was very successful. We are ready to resume normal library service on Tuesday, January 22nd @ 10 am as planned.
Our drop box at Crest Road will not be operational after Monday, January 21st. We are anticipating that delivery and installation of our Park Road Ext drop box will be very soon. Unfortunately, until this time, there will be no drop box facility at either location. You may either return your materials to another library or wait until later in January to return them to us. There will be NO library fines applied during the month of January.
We look forward to welcoming you to our temporary home.
